Just an initial thought but with the antenna fixed to the receiver what about models using large amounts of carbon fibre?
The only guy I know who flies a moulded F3F machine has just ordered a special glass-only fus to enable use with his Spektrum DX-7. Futaba FASST might have the edge here, as it's only the ends of the antennae which are critical re orientation and positioning. That would suggest that poking them through the fus (if the design allows) might be a solution.
